Ny information gällande från och med 2022-05-16: Nu återgår vi till våra ordinarie regler bl a gällande ombokning av lektioner.  De finns här. Föräldrar får återigen vänta inomhus, även om vi fortfarande är tacksamma för återhållsamhet. Deltagande av EN förälder i undervisning är alltid tillåtet efter överenskommelse med läraren. Föräldrakontakt: värna ditt barns läxpärm/läsdagbok som fortsätter vara en viktig länk. Hygienregler: Alla som kommer in i huset ska fortsätta tvätta och desinficera händerna noga. Elever som är febriga, har en rinnande näsa eller kraftig hosta ska inte komma på lektionen. Vi fortsätter med den ökade städningen/desinfektionen av våra lokaler.

New information from 2022-05-16: We now return to our ordinary rules regarding rescheduling of lessons. You can find them here. Parents are once again allowed to wait indoors, even if we are still grateful for your restraint. ONE parent is always allowed to participate in the lessons, after agreement with the teacher. Contact with parents: please mind your childs homework folder/notebook that continues to be an important link. Hygiene rules: All who enter the house should continue to wash and disinfect their hands. Students who are feverish, have a runny nose or a severe cough should not come to the lesson. We continue to increase the cleaning/disinfection of our facilities.

1.) Undervisning: Som renodlad musikskola med egna hus och god kontroll tillåter vi fysiska individuella lektioner men fortsätter tillämpa strikta hygienregler. Se nedan. Även lektioner med små grupper (t ex musikteori) tillåts. Music Kindergarten pågår. Då denna linje har vi schemalagt längre tid mellan lektionerna för att undvika trängsel. Gruppstorlek i Music Kindergarten är fortfarande mindre än vanligt. För de äldre eleverna tillåter vi ensembler med upp till 22 personer.

2.) Lektioner online: Vi ger inte kontinuerlig online-undervisning.  På linje 2, även musikcheck, kan fortfarande EN lektion på elevens bevåg och EN lektion på lärarens bevåg flexas till tillfälliga digitallektioner. Digitala lektioner ges på schemalagd undervisningstid. Våra vanliga regler för återbud/flex på 48 tim i förväg gäller även för digitala lektioner.  Maxantalet digitala lektioner per termin är TVÅ om inte uttryckligen överenskommet med skolledningen.

3.) Flex till ett annat datum: Elever på linje 2 (men inte musikcheckselever) behåller möjligheten att använda sina två flextillfällen för att flytta en lektion till ett annat tillfälle. Detta tillfälle måste godkännas i förväg av läraren och ska ligga på en av lärarens ordinarie undervisningsdagar. Våra ordinarie återbudsregler gäller. Även läraren kan flexa, men måste inhämta skolledningens godkännande först. Skulle Lunds Kommun besluta om att grundskolorna stängs kommer LIMUS flytta hela undervisningsveckor till reservveckor i slutet på terminen.

4.) Konserter: Från och med höstterminen 2021 tänker vi återgå till vanliga konserter med sittande publik inomhus. Fortfarande begränsar vi antalet deltagande och lämnar längre tid mellan konserterna för att undvika trängsel. På våra konserter får enbart helt friska elever medverka. 5.) Hygienregler – vi fortsätter vara noga och försiktiga!

– Enbart elever och lärare tillåts komma in i våra hus. Alla andra personer måste stanna utanför. Föräldrar som har särskilda skäl att delta i sina barns lektioner behöver inhämta skolledningens tillstånd och ska skrivas in i lärarens schema.

– Elever som är febriga, har en rinnande näsa eller kraftig hosta ska inte komma på lektionen utan boka om den enligt våra flexregler, se punkt 2 och 3.

– Alla som kommer in i våra hus ska noga tvätta händerna med tvål och använda desinfektionsmedel efteråt. Vi är uppmärksamma, håller gott avstånd till varandra och undviker fysiska kontakter.

– Instrument som används av många personer, t.ex. våra pianon desinficeras dagligen.

– Vi har dubblerat antal städningar av gemensamma utrymmen, desinfektion av dörrhandtag, mm. Tvål, pappershanddukar och handsprit finns tillgängligt på flera ställen.

– Har du kommit i kontakt med en person som konstaterats sjuk i Covid – 19 ber vi att du följer folkhälsomyndighetens regler

6.) Föräldrakontakt:  Föräldrar till elever på linje 2 måste lämna barnet + läxpärm + noter utanför entrén. Efter lektionen möter ni barnet i dörren. OBS! Hämta i tid, vi vill helst inte ha barn väntande på sina föräldrar i korridoren. Använd läxpärmen för ökad information och kommunikation. Har ni frågor till läraren går det också bra att ringa läraren påföljande dag under förmiddagen eller på en tid som läraren anger. Våra lärare har fått en utökad tidsresurs/betald arbetstid för att kunna prata med er i telefon. Vi försöker hålla dialogen igång!

Förälder i Music Kindergarten: Undvik trängsel vid entrén! Barnen släpps in en & en med respektive förälder som hjälper barnet att ta av sig. Sen går man ut och nästa förälder släpps in. Kom i god tid. När lektionen har startat stänger vi dörren.

Sjuk förälder? Om ditt barn får lov att gå i förskola/grundskola så får det också komma till oss.

7.) Undervisning i lokaler som inte är våra egna (Torna Hällesstad Byskolan, Staffanstorp Medborgarhuset, Hjärup Uppåkraskolan) Vänligen respektera att även dessa skolor fortfarande vill minimera antalet personer i sina hus. Lämna ditt barn i dörren. Beslutar någon av dessa skolor fjärrundervisnng så byter vi tillfälligt till digitala lektioner.

LIMUS Information and rules due to the coronavirus

New information and rules due by 2021-07-18, renewed 2021-12-10, valid until at least 2022-05-15.

1.) Education: As a music school with its own houses and good hygiene control, we let the physical individual lessons continue as usual but with strict hygiene rules. See below. Lessons in small groups (like music theory) are still ongoing. Music Kindergarten is ongoing but with longer time between lessons and in smaller groups. For the older students we allow ensembles for up to 22 players.

2.) Online lessons: We do not provide continuous online teaching. On line 2 and music check ONE lessons on the student’s initiative and ONE lessons on the teacher’s initiative can still be flexed into temporary digital lessons. Digital lessons are given at scheduled teaching time. Our rules for cancelling/rescheduling max 48 hours in advance still apply. The maximum number of digital lessons per semester is TWO if not explicitly agreed with the school management.

3.) Flex to another date: Students in line 2 (but not music check students) are keeping  the possibility for two flex opportunities. Follow our rules for cancelling and make an agreement about a make-up lesson with the teacher in advance. This lesson needs to be done within the teachers ordinary schedule. The teachers also are allowed to flex, but they must obtain the school management’s approval first. Should Lund Municipality decide to close the compulsory schools, LIMUS will move entire teaching weeks to reserve weeks at the end of the semester.

4.) Concerts: By fall term of 2021 we plan to go back to regular concerts with sitting audience indoors. We still limit the amount of participants and leave time between the concerts to avoid crowding. Only completely healthy students are allowed to participate in our concerts. 5.) Hygiene rules – we try to still be cautious and careful!

 – Only students and teachers are allowed to enter our houses. All other people must stay outside. Parents who have special reasons to participate in their children’s lessons need to obtain the school management’s permission and must be entered in the teacher’s schedule (for possible infection tracing). – Students who are feverish, have a runny nose or a severe cough should not come to the lesson but rebook it according to our flex rules, see points 2 and 3.

– Everyone who enters our houses must carefully wash their hands with soap and use disinfectant afterwards. We show respect, keep a good distance from each other and avoid physical contact.

– Instruments used by many people, like our pianos are disinfected daily.

– We have doubled the number of cleanings of common areas, disinfection of door handles, etc. Soap, paper towels and hand disinfectant are available in several places.

– If you have come into contact with a person who has been infected with Covid – 19, we ask you to follow folkhälsomyndighetens regler.

6.) Parental contact: Parents of students on line 2 must leave their child + homework folder + sheet music outside the entrance. After the lesson you meet your child at the door. NOTE! Pick up on time, we prefer not to have children waiting for their parents in the hallway. Use the homework folder for increased information and communication. If you have questions for the teacher, it is possible to call the teacher the following day in the morning or at a time specified by the teacher. Our teachers have been given an extended time resource/paid working hour to be able to talk to you on the phone. We try to keep the dialogue going! Parents in Music Kindergarten: Avoid crowding the entrance! The children are let in one by one with their parent who helps their child. Then the parent leaves and the next parent is allowed in. Arrive well in advance! When the lesson has started, we close the door.
Sick parent? If your child is allowed to go to preschool / primary school, it can also come to us.

7.) Teaching in facilities which are not our own (Torna Hällesstad Byskolan, Staffanstorp Medborgarhuset, Hjärup Uppåkraskolan)

Please respect that these schools also wish to minimize the amount of people in their facilities. Please leave your child at the door. If any of these schools should decide on distance teaching we will temporarily switch to digital lessons.

Ny information 2021-01-14
Staffanstorps kommun har den 11 januari beslutat att musikskolornas undervisning i kommunen ska bedrivas på distans. Beslutet gäller fram till den 15 februari. Det är inte tillåtet för LIMUS att komma in i lokalerna på Medborgarskolan, Staffanstorp eller Uppåkraskolan, Hjärup.
För elever på LIMUS med undervisning i Staffanstorps kommun innebär detta digital undervisning under vecka 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Lektionerna ska ges på den schemalagda lektionstiden. En elev som inte går att nå under schemalagd lektionstid förlorar sin lektion. 
I mycket begränsad omfattning erbjuder våra lärare tillfällig flytt av lektioner till våra egna lokaler i Lund. Elever som kan komma ifråga för detta kontaktar vi individuellt.

New information 2021-01-14
Staffanstorps kommun has decided on the 11th of January that the music schools must give lessons at a distance. The decision is valid until the 15th of February. It is currently not permitted for LIMUS to access the facilities at Medborgarskolan, Staffanstorp or Uppåkraskolan, Hjärup.
Students at LIMUS who has lessons in Staffanstorps kommun will now have digital lessons during the weeks 2,3,4,5,6. The lessons are given on the regularly scheduled lesson time. A student who is unavailable during the lesson time will lose his/her lesson.
In very limited capacity, we offer our teachers to move the lessons to our facilities in Lund. Students who may be eligible for this we will contact individually.

Med dessa informationer och regler ersätter vi tidigare informationer och regler. Om inte annat anges gäller följande fram till 2021-06-15.

Maxantalet digitala lektioner per termin är FYRA om inte uttryckligen överenskommet med skolledningen. Det är mycket olika hur digitala lektioner fungerar för våra elever. Generellt gäller att extra online-lektioner tillåts oftare för elever födda 2005 och tidigare.

3.) Flex till ett annat datum: Elever på linje 2 (inte är musikcheckselever) behåller möjligheten att använda sina två flextillfällen för att flytta en lektion till ett annat tillfälle, som läraren måste godkänna. Våra ordinarie återbudsregler gäller i så fall. Även läraren kan flexa på detta sätt, men måste inhämta skolledningens godkännande först. Pappa Bachs födelsedag i mars och Piazzollas 100års-firande ges som flera minikonserter fördelade över en hel dag. Con Anima-klasskonserter har blivit fler (8 stycken) och ges med få medverkande. With this information and rules, we replace previous information and rules. Unless otherwise stated, the following applies until 2021-06-15:

1.) Education: The spring term starts in week 2. As a music school with its own houses and good hygiene control, we let the individual lessons continue as usual but with strict hygiene rules. See below. Lessons in small groups (like music theory) are still ongoing. Music Kindergarten is ongoing but with longer time between lessons and in smaller groups. Larger ensembles will take a break. The music check ensemble is ongoing but are divided into smaller groups during the lessons.

2.) Online lessons: We do not provide continuous online teaching. On line 2 and music check TWO lessons on the student’s initiative and TWO lessons on the teacher’s initiative can be flexed into temporary digital lessons. Digital lessons are given at scheduled teaching time. We have temporarily changed the rules so notice time for flex is shortened from 48 to 24 hours. The maximum number of digital lessons per semester is FOUR if not explicitly agreed with the school management. It is very different how digital lessons work for our students. In general, online lessons are allowed more frequently for students born in 2005 and earlier.

3.) Flex to another date: Students in line 2 (not music check students) keeps the possibility to use their two flex opportunities and thereby move a lesson to another occasion, which their teacher must approve. In that case our ordinary cancel rules applies. The teacher can also flex in this way but must obtain the school management’s approval first. Should Lund Municipality decide to close the compulsory schools, LIMUS will move entire teaching weeks to reserve weeks at the end of the semester.

4.) Concerts: During the spring semester 2021 no family concerts or ensembles concerts will be given. The music story for preschool children is canceled. LIMUS Contemporary with Young Academy and the music check ensemble has been moved to April and doubled. Father Bach’s birthday in March and Piazzolla’s 100th anniversary is given as several mini concerts spread over an entire day. Con Anima class concerts have turned into eight smaller concerts and are played with fewer participants. Only completely healthy students are allowed to participate in our concerts. Om inte annat anges gäller följande regler fram till 2021-04-30

1.) Undervisning: Vi följer Lunds Kommuns bedömning gällande undervisning för grundskole- och gymnasieelever. Våra individuella lektioner med grundskole- och gymnasieelever och med vuxna pågår som vanligt. Även lektioner med små grupper (t ex musikteori) pågår.  Music Kindergarten pågår med minskat utbud, längre tid mellan lektionerna och mindre grupper. Lektioner med större ensembler, t ex Musikchecksensemblen, ges utifrån en riskbedömning i samråd med Lunds Kommun.

2.) Konserter: Elevkonserter ges med en begränsning till totalt 50 personer. Vi fortsätter begränsa antalet medverkande och antalet anhöriga i publiken och erbjuder istället fler konserter och dubblering av konserter. I år kommer det finnas sju Nikolauskonserter 5/6 dec i Magle konserthus. LIMUS CONTEMPORARY 14 februari kommer att dubbleras. Vi gjorde Ständchen som digitalt arrangemang och kommer fortsätta filma när våra elever musicerar. Se och hör här.

LIMUS Information due to the coronavirus

New information 2020-10-30
Unless otherwise stated the following rules apply until 2021-04-30

1.) Teaching: We follow Lund Municipality’s assessment regarding teaching for primary and secondary school students. Our individual lessons with primary and secondary school students and with adults take place as usual. Lessons with small groups (eg music theory) are also ongoing. Music Kindergarten is running to a reduced extent, longer time between lessons and smaller groups. Lessons with larger ensembles, such as the Music Check Ensemble, are given based on a risk assessment in consultation with Lund Municipality.
For information about Staffanstorp Municipality, see point 5.

2.) Concerts: Student concerts are given with a limit of a total of 50 people. We continue to limit the number of participants and the number of relatives in the audience and instead offer more concerts and double the amount of concerts. This year there will be seven Nikolaus concerts 5/6 Dec in Magle concert hall.
LIMUS CONTEMPORARY February 14 will be doubled. We did Ständchen as a digital event and will continue to film when our students make music. See and hear here.

Each teacher designs his teaching in a way that minimizes the risk of spreading the infection. If you have come into contact with a person who has been found ill with Covid – 19, we ask everyone to follow Folkhälsomyndighetens rules.

4.) Hygiene: Instruments used by many people, such as our pianos are disinfected daily. We have doubled the number of cleanings of common areas, disinfection of door handles, etc. Soap, paper towels and hand disinfection are available in several places.

5.) Online lessons: We do not provide continuous online teaching. At the time of writing, Staffanstorp Municipality denies us access to school premises. Affected students can unfortunately not be offered physical lessons until the school premises are open again. Therefore, we temporarily convert these students lessons into digital lessons. On line 2 in Lund, as well as music check, the teacher can take the initiative for temporary digital lessons. It is very different how digital lessons work for our students. The teacher decides if digital lessons are appropriate. The maximum number of digital lessons per semester is TWO if not explicitly agreed with the school management. Digital lessons are given at scheduled teaching time and our regular cancellation rules apply.

6.) Parental contact lines 1 and 2: We ask all parents to NOT follow into the houses. Leave your child + homework folder + notes at the door. After the lesson you meet your child at the door. NOTE! Pick up on time, we prefer not to have children waiting for their parents in the hallway. Use the homework folder for increased information and communication. If you have questions for the teacher, it is also possible to call the teacher the following day in the morning or at a time specified by the teacher. Our teachers have now been given an extended time resource/paid working hours to be able to talk to you on the phone.
Exceptions: Parents with special permission from the school management may participate at the lessons. Parent in Music Kindergarten: the children are let in one by one with each parent who helps the child to take of their outer garments. Then the parent goes out and the next parent is let in. Come in good time! When the lesson has started, we close the door.
Sick parent? If your child is allowed to go to preschool/primary school, he or she can also come to us.

Om inte annat anges gäller följande regler fram till 2020-12-20:

1.) Våra individuella lektioner med grundskole- och gymnasieelever och med vuxna pågår som vanligt. Även lektioner med små grupper , t ex Music Kindergarten, pågår som vanligt. Lektioner med större ensembler, t ex Musikchecksensemblen, ges utifrån en bedömning av det aktuella läget i Lunds Kommun. Tills vidare tillåter vi ensembler med upp till 22 elever. 

2.) Elevkonserter ges med en begränsning till totalt närvarande 50 personer. Vid vissa konserter kan det betyda att antalet medverkande och antalet anhöriga i publiken begränsas.  Vi har garderat oss genom att erbjuda fler och mindre konserter (klasskonserter)  Vissa konserter dubbleras. Som komplettering för konserter erbjuder vi även digitala arrangemang som t.ex. Ständchen

4.) Instrument som används av många personer, tex våra pianon desinficeras dagligen.

5.) Undervisning online ges vanligtvis inte. Skulle Lunds eller Staffanstorps kommun pga Coronaviruset neka oss tillgång till skollokaler, så  förbehåller vi oss rätten att antingen flytta lektionerna tillfälligt till våra egna lokaler eller att tillfälligt ställa om till digitala lektioner.

LIMUS Musikskola tar noga del av alla informationer och riktlinjer som ges för att bromsa smittorisken för Corona.

Följande gäller tills vidare:

All undervisning som ges individuellt och i små grupper fortsätter enligt vårt reguljära schema.
Våra vanliga återbuds – och uppsägningsregler gäller.

Det kan bli aktuellt att pausa någon undervisningsvecka och i så fall återkommer vi i den här tråden.

Beslutas det att Lunds skolor stängs ner, så flyttas även på LIMUS resterande undervisningstillfällen till slutet av terminen eller till början av höstterminen. Det kan också bli aktuellt att LIMUS beslutar att lektioner med Skype kan användas istället för fysiska lektioner.

Inga elever ska spela på klasskonserterna 14/3, ensemblekonserterna 28/3 och 4/4 samt lunchkonserten 8/4! Vi använder istället repertoaren senare denna termin eller till hösten.

Dessa konserter överstiger inte regeringens riktlinjer för 500 personer på samma ställe. Men vi är lite extra försiktiga med detta. Troligen kommer några lärare att spela på dessa konserter – kom och lyssna på oss ifall du och dina barn är friska!

Angående familjekonserterna den 1 maj i Maria Magdalena Kyrka ber vi att få återkomma.

LIMUS International Music School takes part of all the national guidelines and precautions regarding the Corona virus outbreak.
Currently, these conditions apply:

All individual lessons, and lessons in small groups, continue according to our regular schedule.
Our Terms and Conditions regarding cancellation and rescheduling apply.

In case one of our teaching weeks will have to be paused, we will return with info on this page.

If there is a decision to close down the schools in Lund, the remaining lessons at LIMUS will have to be moved to the end of the term or the start of next term. In this case, Skype lessons may also be used to replace regular lessons.

No students are playing at our class concerts 14/3, the ensemble concerts 28/3 and 4/4 or the lunch concert 8/4. Instead, we will use the repertoire for later arrangements this term or the next.

These concerts do not exceed the governments recommendations of a maximum of 500 people at the same venue. But we have decided to be extra careful. Probably some of our teachers will play at these concerts instead, and you are welcome to come and listen if your children are healthy!

Regarding the family concerts 1st of May at Maria Magdalena Kyrka, we will have to get back to you.

På LIMUS Musikskola följer vi skolverkets och Folkhälsomyndighetens rekommendationer.
Ur ett smittskyddsperspektiv finns i dagsläget ingen anledning att friska elever som återkommer från en resa ska stanna hemma från skolan. Samma sak gäller för personal, och oavsett i vilken område de har rest.
Folkhälsomyndighetens information
Har man vistats i riskområden där viruset sprids ska man genast meddela skolledningen, Gabriele Katthän/Fredrik Schützer och ha en dialog. Rekommendationen är att den personen stannar hemma/arbetar hemifrån i 14 dagar. Vår individuella undervisning kan tillfälligt ges via telefon eller skype.
Våra vanliga uppsägnings- och återbudsregler gäller. På linje två kan två – men inte fler – lektioner per termin flexas till en reservvecka. Förutsättningen är att återbud sker 48 timmar i förväg. Annars förfaller lektionen och måste betalas.
Var noga med handhygienen och tvätta händerna med tvål och vatten innan lektionen.

LIMUS International Music School follows the recommendations of the Swedish National
Agency for Education (Skolverket) and the Public Health Agency of Sweden
(Folkhälsomyndigheten).

From an infection prevention perspective, there is currently no reason
for healthy students returning from a trip to stay home from
school. The same applies to the staff, regardless of which area they
have traveled in.
Information from the Public Health Agency of Sweden

If you have been staying in one of the risk areas where the virus is
spread, you should immediately notify the school principal, Gabriele
Katthän/Fredrik Schützer and have a dialogue. The recommendation is
that the person stays at home/works from home for 14 days. Individual
lessons can be temporarily provided by telephone or Skype.

Our regular cancellation policy applies. On our program 2 (Att växa med musiken) you may reschedule two lessons per term (at most) to the replacement weeks. In order to
replace a lesson, you need to make a cancellation to your teacher 48
hours (at the latest) before scheduled time. Otherwise, the lesson
will expire and must be paid.

Take care of hand hygiene and wash your hands with soap and water
before your lesson.”
